Beer Batter Bread Recipe Probably the best bread I know for breakfast toast. Self-rising flour is essential to this recipe, and useless to any other except biscuits. This is my kind of baking—just put everything together and bake it.

INGREDIENTS :- Serves 1 loaf
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 12 ounces beer
- 14 pound butter
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Step 1 Mix together all the ingredients except the butter and place in a 9 x 5-inch greased bread pan.
Step 2 Melt the butter and pour 4 tablespoons over the top of the dough.
