Hot Cinnamon Bread Easy
Hot Cinnamon Bread Step by Step– This is one of my favorite things to eat, especially when there is homemade butter and blackberry jam. To go with It is related to skillet bread that I remember as a kid in South Dakota, but this version can be cooked in a deep fryer or an electric skillet.

INGREDIENTS :- Serves Makes 8
- 4 pound butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 21/2 cups unbleached
- all-purpose flour
Step 1 Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Step 2 Cream the butter and sugar; add the spices and mix in the flour well.
Step 3 Reserve 3/4 cup of this crumbly mixture for the top.
Step 4 Add the beaten egg and the buttermilk mixed with the soda and baking powder to the rest.
Step 5 Pour into a greased, floured 11/2-quart ovenproof glass baking dish.
Step 6 Cover the top with the reserved crumbly mixture.
Step 7 Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve hot with butter.
