Yorkshire Pudding Recipe for 8
Yorkshire Pudding Recipe Taste: Just about everyone has a recipe for this popover-like pudding. This one is as foolproof as any I have ever tried, and it tastes a lot better than many I have eaten.

INGREDIENTS :- Serves 8
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground
- 1 cup sifted, unbleached
- black pepper
- all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup beef drippings, heated
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
Step 1 Beat the eggs with a whisk or electric hand beater until quite light, then gradually beat in the milk and flour. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2 Put an 11 x 14 x 21/2-inch baking pan in the oven and let it get very hot.
Step 3 Remove from the oven; pour in the hot drippings and then the batter.
Step 4 Put on the center shelf of the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
Step 5 Reduce the heat to 375°F. and continue to bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the pudding has risen and is puffed and brown.
Step 6 Do not open the oven door during the first 20 minutes of baking.
Step 7 Cut into squares and serve immediately with roast beef.
