Lemon Sauce Recipe Easy for Beginners
Lemon Sauce Recipe Brighten Your Meals

INGREDIENTS :- Serves Makes about 3 cups
- 3 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons sifted unbleached all-purpose flour
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cup lemon juice
- Grated rind of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon grated orange rind 1 teaspoon grated lime rind
Step 1 Mix the sugar and flour in the top of a double boiler over hot water.
Step 2 Add the egg yolks. Mix in the cold water and stir for 10 minutes.
Step 3 Add the butter, bit by bit.
Step 4 Add the lemon juice and grated rinds and mix well.
Step 5 Serve hot or cold.
Note:- This tart sauce is good as a dessert by itself or on bread puddings, sliced pound cake, or ice cream.
