You’ll often discuss the weather before deciding to go out to the farm or the beach.
- Friend: Vacava na draki nikua? (How is the weather today?)
- You: E uca tiko. (It is raining.)
- Friend: Sota tale ena Moniti? (See you again on Monday?)
- You: Io, ena mataka lailai. (Yes, in the early morning.)
