Hard Sauce Recipe Ingredients What Do You Need for?

INGREDIENTS :- Serves
- Makes about 21/2 cups
- 1/ pound butter
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 11/4 cups confectioners’ sugar
Step 1 Cream the butter and gradually add the sugar.
Step 2 Add the brandy when the butter and sugar are well creamed, and continue beating until the mixture is very light and fluffy.
Step 3 Spread over room-temperature or warm (not chilled) pies just before serving.
Note:- This is not the usual hard sauce, in that it should not be chilled but should stay at room temperature. It’s wonderful on mincemeat pies, apple pies, even vanilla ice cream.
